Hiddy Ho Pussycats!
When we were in Prague we went to a small brewery
to have lunch and sample their home brew.
I ordered french onion soup and this is how it came....

Cheese croutons and cubed ham.
It was great (sans ham of course).
Milos had the same.

At the same pub we saw this man and his little friend...
I love how animal friendly it is in Prague.
You can take your dog just about anywhere...
even to have a beer at your favourite watering-hole!

This place i found near the train station.
yes, you can get fabulous fried cheese on a bun
or some potato pancakes. Yumm!!

Beer 32kc or $1.60

Yes, i said $1.60.
Sign me up!

I saw this gal with these interesting leopard pants..
She was Russian
OOOH!!! those Russians (think Boney M)

Yes it is true!!!...finally a new Weezi Store
Hiddy Ho Puussycats!
I am back from my adventures in the Czech Republic
and I have great news!

By mid to the end of July there WILL
indeed be a new Weezi store.
After all this time and waiting I
finally able to set up shop again.
I am very excited!!!!
It will be here in London above Prince Albert's Diner.

I am extending my studio into the bachelor apt. beside me
and will have enough room to put up
my racks and sell Weezi clothes and bags.

I will be able to open around mid July once i get everything set up.

So, this puts a whole new spin on EVERYTHING!

I am going to start with bags, purses and skirts.
Get open, get the "party" started and
then move on to dresses, tees and hoodies from there.
I will be sending out emails and posts regularly to
keep everyone updated....get some feedback
on my thoughts and ideas as I get
ready to open.

I am always looking for inspirations and ideas.
Please send along any ideas, pics and sites of things you like.

This was the old Weezi store if you remember...

And- now we are moving on to better things!!!!

Had a great time in the Czech Republic.
Took a lot of "street fashion" photos
that I will share with you over the next few weeks.

Drank WAY too much beer, ate WAY too much cheese!
It sucks to come back to reality BUT it
is nice to come back to a reality that
includes a Weezi store!! :)

Caio Pussycats! xo

the fried cheese!!!

A tasty selection where ever you go.

I finally finished my plaid coat to take with me to Prague.

Hiddy Ho Pussycats!
I finally finished my plaid
coat to take with me to Prague.
This is for when it is "cold" at night.
I am nutty for purple and red right now.
And- i am sounding like a broken
record with my luv of Peter Pan collars.

I know the plaids don't match in the back.
I was working with barely a meter
and a half.
I had to make some "tough" matching decisions.

My Mum found this piece
of wool in a thift store.
Lucky me!
For once, I am very happy
with what i made myself.

Happy Saturday! Luv Weezi xo

A New Weezi Bag

A New Weezi Bag

Hello Pussycats!
Here is one of many new Weezi bags to come.

I started this one almost a year ago..
i don't know why it took so long for me to finish
but it happens..i get stuck.
I didn't re-invent the wheel by any stretch!

But sometimes that creative feeling
is missing and it just looks like
boring tweed with no life in it.

Anyhow..i will take a better photo and put it on
the web site.
Hope you like.
Have a great Monday! Luv Weezi xo

Bon Voyage Pussycats!
Well, i am not going anywhere yet..
BUT! -it is only one month today until Milos and i go to Prague.

But- truth be told i am an obsessive "packer".
I drag out those suitcases about 2 weeks before
and pack, repack and pack again.
I Love it!- getting ready to go is almost as much fun for
me as the journey is.

Having said that... I triple love
these new vintage inspired bags from Samsonite.

There is a line called Samsonite Black Label.
On this site they have a line of lovely bags
designed by Isabella Rossellini.

http://www.samsoniteblacklabel.com

There is also is line by Alexander McQueen.

Very nice!
But, as my mother always said...
"white doesn't stay nice for very long!"
Airport travel is not know to be clean and tidy.

Then there is also a line designed by
Christina Ricci and Cameron Silver.
This is my favourite!

Now, i had trouble finding all this in one spot.
When you go to www.samsonite.ca
There is a fashion collection link..but it only shows the
Isabella line.
I found the other 3 just thru google.

Anyhow..thought you just like
to have a peak....nice stuff
lots O' monies!
Have a great night! luv weezi xo
They found my car... Hi Pussycats!
Well, yes exactly 2 weeks to the day and almost to the hour
they found my car.
It was in a ditch just outside of Glencoe..
No gas and FULL of garbage.

The OPP called this afternoon and so we went to
tow it from the garage.
So, when I walked up to it this is
what i saw...it didn't look too bad.
But-both the door handles were DEEEE-STROYED!

Inside was a bloody mess!
They smashed one of the back windows...
I think these sub-human life forms "lived" in it..good times!
Great place to take a date...classy!

Ok, so it was hot-wired...as you can see they "popped out"
the ignition.
It was lying on the floor in the back seat and i decided
to keep it...i am not sure why.
I think I needed something to re-claim back...strange i know.

Anyhow...I had the guy at the garage show me
how they start it with a screw driver after
the ignition is out.
Cheeze and crackers pussycats!!- it is
RIDICULOUSLY easy!!!!
Just place it it there and turn...
A blind person could do it..i was shocked!
(no offense to the blind..the point is you can't see )

If i had know just how easy it was to steal a car
this way i WOULD have bought a club.
So, here it is back in London...it is going to the scrap yard.
It would be over $600.00 to fix just the obvious.

Ok..now you may not care about this but i feel it is my
obligation to share some of this info with you about stolen vehicles.

Since my car was stolen....95% of the people I shared this with
have had their car stolen of know someone who has.

The officer I talked to the day mine was taken said 250 cars a month
get stolen in London alone.
Plymouth and Chrysler made cars are to the top targets b/c
of how easy they are to start without a key.

The Dodge Neon is at the top of the list.
I did a little looking around and i found this list..

Honda Civic tops Canada's list of most stolen cars

A 1996 Honda Civic

A 1996 Honda Civic

November 22, 2006

The 1999 and 2000 year model Honda Civic SiR tops the list of Canada's most stolen cars.

Consumer popularity also assures the cars will be popular with thieves.
Its the second year in a row the Honda SiR has topped the list.

Rick Dubin Vice President of Investigations for the
Insurance Bureau of Canada said "The Civics are easy targets."

Dubin said that once stolen, the cars are most often sold to "chop shops" where thieves completely dismantle the vehicles. The automobile's individual parts are worth more than the entire car.

The sheer numbers of the cars and their lack of theft deterrent systems make them thieves' preferred choices.

I know many cars are stolen b/c they are nice and fancy but
it is the cars like mine that are stolen due to joy rides.
"Beaters and junkers" like mine are the easiest targets.

Taken by low-lifes that don't how to ride a bus and too
"fu*#ng lazy and arrogant to walk!

Please be careful Pussycats....i didn't have theft on my car b/c there
was no point. Sooner or later the car was going to die i know that.
But, it was mine. It wasn't up for the takin'.

It cost me $150.00 to have to towed and i have to
pay to get a new ownership paper so i can sell it to the car wreckers.

If i could turn back the clock i would buy one of
those "dorky" looking clubs to protect my car.

I have to admit i would roll my eyes a bit when i saw a junker
like mine with a club on the steering wheel...

Karma pussycats..it comes back to bite you in the butt!

Not so "dorky" lookin' now ey???

The Club $47.97 plus tax at Canadian Tire.

Steering-Wheel-to-Pedal Security Lock $19.99

It was a very annoying experience and i hope i can
keep one of you out there in cyber-space from having their car stolen.

It happens A LOT everyday... all day!
Please be protected.

Take care and be safe!
Wishing you the best until next time!

Luv weezi xo

sweater bags

Hiddy Ho Pussycats!
I feel stuck between seasons.
I am so ready for spring..
but am not ready to give up sweaters.

Hence my new green sweater bag.

I feel myself still "clinging"
to the warmth and comfort of sweaters.
Physically AND mentally.

As much as I don't want to think about
another sweater until next October...
I am still drawn to them.
Old winters die hard or something like that...

Anyhow, i pleased with the green and yellow combo.
I like how my "wonky" shrunken flower turned out.
I think there is "renewal" sense to this shade of green.
You know..spring... re-birth..fresh start.

Yada, Yada!! Bring on flip flops and tank tops!

Caio Pussycats! Have a good Wednesday! Luv Weezi xo

Ps..still no car.
New Plaid Courier Bag

Hiddy Ho Pussycats!
I made a plaid wool courier bag in the fall
and unbeknown to me
it was a huge hit!

I sold it at Christmas time..thanx Adam!

The other day I found a nice
summer cotton blend that
is almost identical to the winter wool.
So- i made another one...
The fabric is a little softer and not "fuzzy"
like the wool was...
and i made the strap longer.

I put in a polka dot piping this time
instead of the caramel colour piping.

Will go on the web page as soon as i figure
out what the hell i am doing wrong
when i upload my changes on the page.
Knowledgeable web-gal i am not!

Hope you like the new bag!

No news on my bloody stolen car!
Luv Weezi xoxoxoxo
Pink Sweater Bag

Hiddy Ho Pussycats!
I made yet another sweater bag.

This WAS a sort-of fuzzy
hot pink ugly sweater.

Then along came me and my sewing machine and...
VOILA!
Lovely pink shoulder bag.

God..sometimes i am such a geek.
I don't get out enough.
Have a great Monday pussycats!
luv the geek-a-zoid!! xo

New Retro Patterns

New Retro Patterns

HI Pussycats!
I found some really great retro patterns!

I can't wait to try them out!
I really like the pocket detail on this one
and the dress is so soft and pretty.
I am really enjoying soft and pretty
more and more instead of "whor-ish and slutty".

I am getting really tired of "whor-ish and slutty"...
it is so old and tired..no pun intended.
You can BE "whor-ish and slutty" in a pretty
unassuming dress, that is much more fun! ;)

I especially like these dresses...

LUV the sleeve detail on the blue one
and pink one really is just divine.

No word on the car...still waiting.
That is the part i hate the most....the unknown.
Anyhow...caio for now!
luv Weezi xo
